The One when the BIG kids play with eggs!

We have been celebrating Easter with The Dodson's for so many years I have lost count. I should find some old Easter pictures from when our kids were little. That would be fun! Anyway, we were at The Dodson's for Easter this year and did some egg coloring and hunting as usual. Beware; these kids are BIG but still have fun like little kids!

Our day is all about coloring and finding these...

My girls always ham it up...
Karen and I.
Dave and Karen.
Just smile Karlee...
Hmmm.. the first time Jess ISN'T making a face...

Mike.. Megan's boyfriend; yes, boyfriends come to our Easters now.
Howard.. Kyle's friend and Kyle; friends come now too...

Lee and Karen Dodson who own Megan, Coie, and Kyle.
The requirement for the eggs this year was to draw some sort of facial expression on the eggs. The "kids" got pretty creative.

Kar is proud of her eggs... good work Kar!

Picole Juice made a cat egg of course...

Are you imitating your egg Megan?

Coie did well with the deep purple color.

Jessie girl drew "the face" and made "the face" in honor of "the face." The first egg in the history of "the face" to have "the face."

Carefulll...

Seriously kid? Can you stop texting for just a moment?

Concentrate...

Megan

Jessie, don't frown.

Hmmm.. what color do I want?

These boys had fun.. they are working hard.

So serious about the egg decorating...

The tuxedo one is the one above Mike is working on so hard. Looks good Mike! The white one is sad it had no color.

So they all got their favorite egg and posed. These are some great kids; good sports because they totally humored me!

The Lakin and Dodson girls... um.. women!
Aww...

After egg coloring we prepared for the hunt. Our Easter egg hunt tradition is to line all the kids up in the hallway by age and take a picture. It started back in the day with my three, Karen's three, and Karen's sister's four. Now we do it with any kids that are joining us!

THE HUNT: consists of 64 candy filled eggs, 8 $5 or $10 eggs, and 1 GOLDEN EGG with $40! GO!

We had a great day! Thanks for having us Karen and Lee! Love you guys!
Oh.. and by the way. Megan found the Golden Egg! Way to go Megan!
